Q2 Threat Report
This briefing will distill the major findings from our 2026 Q2threat report into a practical update on the current threat landscape. We will preview how the landscape is evolving and what organizations should expect as we move through the remainder of 2026. Drawing on trends observed throughout the first half of the year, this session will examine how attackers are increasing operational speed, and exploiting access paths. We will also discuss how AI is impacting barrier to entry, accelerating vulnerability discovery, and enabling attacks to scale rapidly. This session will connect our threat actor research, observed incident response cases, and exposure management findings to practical implications for security programs.
Before the Breach: Inside the Infostealer Ecosystem
Before ransomware. Before lateral movement. Before the breach makes headlines, there's usually an infostealer. In this session we trace the evolution of infostealer malware into the foundational first step of modern attacks, examining the latest trends in malware families, log markets, and how stolen data fuels everything that comes after. Walk away with a clearer picture of where this threat is headed and what it means for your organization in 2026 and beyond.
PXA Stealer (and cats)
A cybercriminal built a successful malware operation that quietly stole passwords, browser sessions, and cryptocurrency wallets from thousands of victims across more than 60 countries. Then he made one critical mistake: he infected his own computer.
The malware did exactly what it was designed to do and uploaded his personal data into an infrastructure we were already monitoring. We had a front-row seat to the operation including screenshots of him building the malware, Github repos, Cloudflare dashboards, online accounts, and a glimpse into how he grew from using other people's tools to running his own enterprise.
Come see what happens when the thief leaves his diary on the kitchen table.
Stealing Their Shine: Keeping Data Out of ShinyHunter's Hands
In May, Beazley Security DFIR teams engaged with a communitycollege to assist with a network breach. Learn how that engagement quickly turned into a back-and-forth with a notorious threat hunter group utilizing azero day to compromise several hundred education institutions, and how we kept ourclient from being one of the victims.
EM and Vulnerability Landscape
Agentic AI has caused widespread upheaval in our industry, particularly in the vulnerability landscape. See how developments like mythos and LLM empowered vulnerability research have caused buckling in how our industry tracks and responds to new CVEs, and what we are doing to adapt, react, and respond.
